Families First offers continuing education workshops for professionals through both Parenting Programs and Seasons Bereavement Programs. Credit may be available for counselors, nurses, teachers or other professionals depending on the topic of the workshop.

Learn the basic concepts for strengthening relationships and reducing conflict in the couples you work with (and your own!). Jana Staton, PhD, LCPC, will share her toolkit of strategies for ‘teachable moments” with your clients. These are relationship education strategies, not therapy, and helpful for everyone to know.
Who should attend: Any service provider who works directly with couples, especially young parents. LCPC and LCSW CE credits available.
