Parenting Programs of Families First offers many services for families including:
Classes and Presentations - Attend programs throughout the year that give family and childrearing information and a chance to meet with other parents and guardians to exchange ideas and advice. Almost all of our classes are free and open to the public with childcare provided. Check out our current Calendar of Events for upcoming classes or download our latest newsletter.
Parenting Consultations - Make an appointment to talk privately with a specialist about specific parenting concerns. We have staff counselors who specialize in child development, parenting through divorce, and bereaved families. Visit our Consultation page for more information.
Parenting Helpline - Call our free Montana parenting consultation line at 1-800-346-ABCD or 721-7690 (in Missoula). The same staff counselors who support parents through in-office consultations are available over the phone.
Online Resources - Many of our handouts, tipsheets, and articles are available online. Visit our Online Resource Directory for a list of topics.
Lending Library - Stop in anytime to browse and borrow from our diverse collection of parenting books, with topic ranging from child development to parenting a child with ADD, or specific family circumstances such as grandparents parenting, divorce, same sex parenting, or coping with death and grief.
