This bibliography is part of an effort by the former Schools Task Force to promote high quality information on all facets of Thanatology, the study of death and dying.
This bibliography addresses secondary school educators and students. This work is not intended to be complete, as the subject is far too varied to confidently state this claim. In fact, it is intended that this is used as a working document, and will go thought considerable revision as it is used. Presently, a decision was made to exclude treatises, journals, memoirs, plays, essays, and poems. Besides novels, this document includes novellas, short stories, and autobiographies. Works accompanied by a double asterisk (**) are particularly directed to young adults.
