Looking for a fun activity that involves sensory skills and science?
Supplies:
  • ice cube tray or something shallow
  • small plastic toys or objects
  • food coloring
Directions:
1. Place toys in the tray
2. Mix water with food coloring
3. Pour into the tray
Once the cubes are frozen let the fun begin. Kiddos can add water to speed up the melting process. You can also place the objects outside to melt. If it’s bath time try placing frozen cubes into the bath.

Spring is here in Montana and this is a great way to prompt discussion with your kiddos about ice and snow melting!
