On July 9th, we will be hosting the Families First 500 at Fort Missoula Regional Park, a family festival and awareness ‘color’ fun run aimed to bring awareness to three important platforms our programming addresses:
-Teenage Suicide Prevention -The Power of Skillful Parenting & Attachment -Social Emotional Development in Children. Our goal with this event is to positively affect 500 Missoula families with awareness of these issues and with the funds we raise. Event will include a color run, fun music, food trucks, and a myriad of obstacles and activities. Fun for the whole family! Back to School BashHelp Prepare Kiddos for Success this School Year!
Every August before school starts, we put together a Back to School Bash where kiddos can come get free school supplies and welcome in the new school year! Come celebrate the end of summer and the beginning of school. We will have fun games and you can join us for creative art projects. August 19th! 'Why did the teacher always wear sunglasses? Mission Valley Cornhole TournamentCornhole - the best yard game.
Join Families First Learning Lab for our 1st annual Mission Valley Cornhole Tournament benefiting the family support services we do in the Mission Valley! Bags will fly Saturday, August 12th at 1pm! The tournament features a double-elimination bracket style cornhole competition, as well as food, music, networking with other business professionals, and more! We tried to find a funny cornhole joke, but they were all too corny. |
Halloween BashFamilies First loves spooky season!
Bring all your ghosts and ghouls to our 18th Annual Halloween Bash! Dress up for October 29th from 12-4pm at the Missoula Public Library where we will have over 25 sponsored exhibits, spooky arts & crafts, and fun science projects for all ages. Trick or Treat in our Tiny Town and enjoy all the events our staff have to offer. And of course, there will be candy... 'What is a ghost's favorite food? Spook-etti!' |
