Infant to 3-year-old Playgroups
Every Tuesday from 10:30 am - 11:30 am in the MPL Imaginarium Families First and the Missoula Public Library host a play group for infants to three-year-olds. Activities focus on early childhood development, play, and the importance of community.
Preschool STEM Building
Discover the magic of huge blue blocks, felt tiles, STEM play activities and magna tiles. Kids can visit anytime between 11 am-2 pm every Wednesday to build and dream up giant creations all while learning about STEM education in our Families First classroom.
Cooking Classes
Our Cooking Classes bring families together in the kitchen by teaching children and adults lifelong cooking skills that can ignite creativity, build self-esteem, and most importantly create memories that will last forever. Join us in the 3rd floor Demo Kitchen every first Thursday quarterly (please visit the Missoula Public Library website for upcoming dates) from 3:30 - 4:30 pm and every third Wednesday of the month from 4 - 5 pm. Space is limited.

Week of the Young Child WOYC Kick-off April 5th - WOYC April 7th to 11th Stop by the Families First classroom for themed activities, games, and crafts for a fun-filled week celebrating early learning, young children, their teachers, families, and communities!

Wild Walk Mask Decorating April 19th 10 am - 11 am Join us for a drop-in costume decorating day. We will have supplies for you to create your favorite animal mask and costume for Saturday’s Wild Walk. The parade kicks off the start of the International Wildlife Film Festival in Missoula.
