Families First is offering summer camp at the Missoula Public Library!
Aimed at enhancing kindergarten readiness, our summer camps will work with children to grow social-emotional skills via learning through play. We hope to see you this summer!

All camps will be half-day and one week long.
Ages 4-6 years old.
Each camp is $165 and payment is required at registration.

Campers will get the opportunity to learn about the magic of creative cooking. Kids will make tasty treats, learn about foods in different cultures, and taste test a variety of flavors. Kiddos will receive an apron to decorate and take-home tools to utilize in their own kitchen!
We will work on fine motor skills, experimenting, and creative play. Local guest chefs will join us for an extra special culinary experience. |
Discover the magic of Montana in our own backyard! Explore and get creative with outdoor crafts that focus on discovery and creativity, all based around the natural world. Campers will learn about animals, nature, and our beautiful Montana.
We will have outdoor games, animal-themed adventures, scavenger hunts, and play-based learning activities. |
Cooking is an incredible way to try new foods from different areas and cultures!
Creative cooking with spices and ingredients is a great way for kids to explore our world. Trying new things is not only fun, it is an adventure! Join us for this special Kinder Cooks class that takes you around the world. We will work on fine motor skills, experimenting, and creative play. Local guest chefs will join us for an extra special culinary experience. |
Do you know a budding artist? A future Picasso or Kahlo?
Campers will experience a variety of art forms by creating edible and recycled art, practicing color wheels, coordination, and so much more! Use your creativity and imagination all while learning about early literacy, fine and gross motor skills, and what our own local art community has to offer. Join us at the end of the week for our version of "First Friday" in the Missoula Public Library where your camper's art will be on full display! And if you're lucky these special little artists might even let you get a good deal on some of their work... |
