We all love our team and get along quite well even outside of the office, but there are still times we find ourselves in need of exiting our desks for quiet space that invites a greater level of focus. During our call, we talked about how that small office has taught us some valuable lessons that can be applied to our working from home schedules during this time of uncertainty.
We all agreed being flexible, knowing unexpected events are bound to happen, taking space, adhering to dedicated quiet times, and respecting the needs of others are important to creating a healthy work environment. We worked together to create a space that supported one another and allowed us to honor different work styles and personalities. These ideas can be applied as we collectively navigate the current situation of balancing working from home, home schooling, and finding time to still connect as a family with fun and light-hearted activities.
Below are a few articles and resources we have found helpful in adapting to this new situation.
We would also love to hear from you about the ways you are finding balance during this time.
