Doing some spring cleaning while you're at home? Here's a fun way to recycle all of those broken crayons. Supplies:
  • crayons
  • bowl of warm water
  • silicon baking mold (or an old cup cake pan)
  • oven (Pre-heat to 200 degrees)
Directions:
1. Peel the labels off of the crayons (Try soaking them in water to help with the peeling)
2. Break the crayons into pieces
3. Place the pieces in the molds and bake for 15-20 minutes
4. Let them cool then create your masterpiece

*This activity is a great way to learn about primary colors and mixing colors. Have your kiddo practice writing words with their new crayon.
